EC Electric is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator 2 to join our team at our Portland, OR location. This role is essential in providing high-level coordination support across various areas, particularly in partnership with our construction project management staff. The Project Coordinator 2 will serve as a vital support system for the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager, ensuring that project documentation is tracked accurately and efficiently. This position will also be responsible for maintaining and controlling the billing process and schedules in accordance with contract requirements. The Project Coordinator 2 will assist with project start-ups and close-outs, providing front desk relief and additional administrative support as needed to meet business and staffing needs. Responsibilities include preparing routine correspondence such as letters, memos, meeting notes, and proposals. The role will also involve assisting with bid forms, proposals, and vendor proposals, as well as maintaining a Bid Tracking Log by creating Bid Numbers and managing various checklists including Subcontract Checklists and Certificate of Insurance Requirements. In addition, the Project Coordinator 2 will be tasked with reviewing specifications for required hard and soft copies, creating submittal packages based on information provided by the Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager, and managing monthly lump sum billings for subcontracts valued between $100k and $5M. This includes handling Pay Applications, Statements of Value, Lien Waivers, and Certified Payroll. The role will also involve logging and tracking insurance, bonding, permits, submittals, RFI's, change orders correspondence, and drawings, as well as assisting with writing RFI's and tracking material orders. The Project Coordinator will prepare routine correspondence and assist in creating tiered subcontracts, managing compliance, and supporting change management processes. Additionally, the role includes processing electrical permits and plan reviews with the necessary supporting documentation, reviewing client documentation for O&M warranty vendor requests, and coordinating record drawings for submission. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
