About the position

The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing various projects under the Maternal and Child Health Center of Excellence (MCH CoE) at UCLA's Medicine-Pediatrics and Preventive Medicine Division. This position is designed for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working collaboratively with a diverse team. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing programmatic support to project directors, ensuring that all project goals are met efficiently and effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to project management, including the enrollment of study representatives and collaboration with project partners both within and outside of UCLA. In addition to project coordination, the incumbent will implement interventions and programs in alignment with research programming. This includes developing program management tools that facilitate stakeholder engagement and data collection. The Project Coordinator will also be tasked with fulfilling various administrative and research duties related to the program, which may involve providing support in areas such as policy analysis and writing for other related projects as needed. The position requires a commitment to working onsite at the Westwood office for the first month, after which a hybrid work schedule may be available based on performance and managerial approval. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a passion for improving maternal and child health outcomes. This role is essential for the successful execution of projects that aim to enhance health services and research initiatives within the community.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the programs manager for all projects under the Maternal and Child Health Center of Excellence (MCH CoE).
  • Provide programmatic support to project directors to accomplish project goals.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in project coordination or a related field.
