About the position

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating electric overhead and underground maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting various operational tasks. This role involves processing work requests, coordinating job prerequisites, and providing logistical support during emergency operations. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide electric overhead and underground corrective maintenance coordination.
  • Support compliance with overhead and underground maintenance as required by CPUC regulations.
  • Process work requests in SAP and CPD for work status, scheduling, and monitoring job progress.
  • Coordinate miscellaneous work such as land management, permitting, and vegetation management.
  • Compile SAP reports for field review, quality assurance audits, and work backlog.
  • Support internal and external compliance audits and coordinate compliance work with planners and supervisors.
  • Provide back-up for the Trench and Timekeeping areas as needed.
  • Lead logistics and resource coordination during storm and emergency drills.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of related experience, preferably in customer service and/or operations.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities, both oral and written.
  • Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CICS, and GFMS.
