About the position

The Project Coordinator / Agile Coach plays a crucial role in overseeing the operational aspects of ongoing projects within the Small Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (SUAS) product portfolio. This position involves acting as a liaison between project management and project teams, ensuring effective communication and project execution. The role emphasizes the adoption of agile methodologies and continuous improvement, aiming to enhance team performance and project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage operational aspects of ongoing projects
• Serve as liaison between project management and project teams
• Review status of projects and budgets
• Manage schedules and prepare status reports including critical path analysis, risk assessment, and project performance metrics
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet project goals and objectives
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers
• Drive adoption of and consistency in agile mindset, values, principles, and practices
• Coach teams to increase maturity of agile methodology
• Drive cultural change toward positivity and accountability
• Teach agile principles and improve agile methodologies in practice
• Embrace continuous improvement
• Lead initiatives to improve process development and implementation in an ISO 9001 environment

Requirements

• Certified Scrum Master
• Certified Scrum Product Owner
• Experience in project planning - development and maintenance of project schedules
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Able to produce clear, concise briefing materials for internal team and customers
• Demonstrated success in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams
• Well organized and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Experience interfacing with management, vendors, and/or customers
• Ability to tailor process requirements to smaller, agile program activities
• Familiarity with Small Unmanned Air Systems and technologies used in security and defense environments
• Experience using MS Project, BigPicture, Jira Advanced Roadmaps, or equivalent schedule planning tool
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experience
• Experience with Jira, or equivalent
• Experience with agile and scrum methodologies
