The Project Coordinator/Analyst in Public and Population Health will work under the supervision of the Project Director and co-investigators on various significant research projects. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities including study subject recruitment, data collection, data and statistical analyses, and report writing. The individual will also manage day-to-day project coordination and communication, ensuring compliance with project contract deliverables and the timely completion of project activities. Key projects include the Aliso Canyon Disaster Health Research Study, NIH research projects related to oral health, and the Baldwin Hills Health Assessment project, among others. As a vital member of the team, the Project Coordinator/Analyst will regularly interact with co-investigators and key decision-makers across health, nonprofit, and government sectors. This position requires convening local stakeholders and decision-makers, managing project activities, and ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule while meeting the requirements set by funding agencies. The individual will participate in research meetings, conduct literature reviews, assist in subject recruitment and follow-up, manage data collection, and contribute to the development of research manuscripts, potentially co-authoring publications. Specific responsibilities include coordinating data core activities for the Aliso Canyon Disaster Health Research Study, overseeing subject recruitment for the Oral Health PROMIS Study, and ensuring timely deliverables for the Baldwin Hills Health Assessment Study. The Project Coordinator/Analyst will also manage workflow, engage in teamwork, and have opportunities to co-author abstracts, presentations, and research papers.
