About the position

The Project Coordinator for BARDA-CBRN at The Pirko Group plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the Division, focusing on project management, reporting, and coordination of activities related to public health preparedness and emergency response. This position involves working closely with leadership to ensure timely completion of projects and deliverables, as well as managing communication and documentation effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist BARDA-CBRN leadership in supporting daily operations with a focus on meeting project/report deliverable deadlines.
• Manage assigned projects to completion and track deliverables, action items, and other requests.
• Develop and manage processes for providing routine and one-time reports to senior HHS leadership.
• Prepare draft and final reports, including formatting and document quality assurance.
• Organize files, presentations, and other documents for easy access and future reporting requests.
• Work with Division Director and Deputy Director to respond to requests for new information/reports quickly.
• Manage tracking sheets for tasks assigned to the Director and Deputy Director, coordinating completion of activities.
• Handle logistics for assigned meetings, including drafting agendas and taking meeting notes.
• Prepare advanced PowerPoint slides for presentations, including generating figures and tables from data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 4-6 years of progressive experience in project coordination or management.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in a start-up or entrepreneurial engagement.
