About the position

The Project Coordinator will support the Office of Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) within the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR). This role involves providing project support and technical expertise to ensure the effective management of public health preparedness and emergency response initiatives. The coordinator will assist in daily operations, manage project deliverables, and facilitate communication among stakeholders to advance BARDA's mission.

Responsibilities

• Assist BARDA leadership in supporting daily operations with a focus on meeting project/report deliverable deadlines.
• Manage assigned projects to completion and track deliverables, action items, and other requests.
• Develop and manage processes for providing routine and one-time reports to senior HHS leadership.
• Prepare draft and final reports, including formatting and document quality assurance/quality control.
• Organize files, presentations, and other documents for easy access and future reporting requests.
• Work closely with Division Director and Deputy Director to respond to requests for new information/reports.
• Manage assigned meetings, including drafting agendas, handling logistics, and following up on action items.
• Prepare advanced PowerPoint slides for presentations, including generating figures and tables from data.

Requirements

• At least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 4-6 years of progressive experience in project coordination or management.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in a start-up or entrepreneurial engagement.
• Relevant project management certifications.
