About the position

The Project Coordinator for Brand Marketing at Paramount Pictures will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies for the company's film library. This entry-level position involves maintaining product databases, coordinating timelines, and ensuring effective communication across various functional teams. The Coordinator will also monitor industry trends and competitive activities, contributing to presentations and supporting ad hoc projects as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain all product and promotions in internal databases.
  • Maintain a timeline for all new product initiatives and communicate key deadlines to core functional groups.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all data communicated from the team.
  • Serve as a point of contact to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
  • Develop and optimize internal business and marketing tools that effectively communicate go-to-market plans.
  • Provide ongoing updates and stay in open communication with all functional areas: Customer Marketing, Operations, Sales, PR, Promotions, Media, Creative, Finance, etc.
  • Monitor, track and communicate competitive activity and industry trends and offer insights to support business objectives.
  • Coordinate third party agreements and purchase order approvals.
  • Contribute to the development of presentations.
  • Provide support with ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Film, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in project management or marketing operations.
  • Experience within home entertainment, film studio, marketing/advertising agency, or consumer products preferred.
  • High degree of proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office Software and Photoshop.
