About the position

The Project Coordinator for the CIPAHP program at California State University, San Bernardino, is responsible for managing project budgets, hiring processes, and coordinating various educational programs. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to support the project's objectives and ensure compliance with funding agency requirements. The position is temporary and full-time, with a work schedule typically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and may require occasional night and weekend work.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the CIPAHP budget and hiring processes.
  • Coordinate the summer bridge program and professional learning communities.
  • Work with the evaluation team to maintain evaluation records.
  • Support the HPAC advisor, The Career Center, and the mentoring program.
  • Assist with data collection and completion of reports according to funding agency requirements.
  • Ensure all project records are accurately maintained, reported, and organized.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in an administrative assistant role.
  • Strong organizational, management, leadership, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems and resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to establish rapport and positive working relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in implementing services through hybrid formats (Zoom, Learning Management Systems, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-haves

  • Demonstrated success in project management.
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft or similar software.
