About the position

The Project Coordinator for Clinical Operations at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is responsible for coordinating and organizing various projects within the healthcare setting. This role involves working closely with management to prepare action plans, manage resources, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while meeting quality standards. The Project Coordinator will also support programmatic development, data tracking, and quality assurance related to department-specific projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates project management activities, resources, equipment, and information.
• Liaises with clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives.
• Assigns tasks to internal teams and assists with schedule management.
• Assists in preparation of budgets.
• Leads all aspects of project procurement management as needed.
• Monitors project progress and addresses any issues that arise.
• Acts as the point of contact and communicates project status to all participants.
• Raises issues as appropriate to Project Manager.
• Uses appropriate tools to monitor project plans and expenditures.
• Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
• Creates basic tables and organizes and presents data to the project team.
• Coordinates needed meetings, including drafting agendas and accurate note-taking.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED minimum.
• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or management related field preferred.
• Master's Degree in Hospital, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred.
• 2 years related administrative and/or management experience in project management, performance improvement, or strategic planning.
• 2 years related healthcare experience or equivalent combination of education; experience in quality improvement or healthcare data analysis.
