About the position

As a Project Coordinator for Commercial Energy Efficiency Programs at ICF, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and management of energy efficiency initiatives across Oklahoma. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about energy efficiency and have a strong desire to make a positive impact in the community. You will be part of a dynamic team that collaborates with various stakeholders, including manufacturers, retailers, Trade Allies, and customers, to ensure the successful execution of utility-sponsored energy efficiency projects. Your responsibilities will include reviewing project applications, ensuring compliance with program policies, and maintaining effective communication with all parties involved in the projects. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to field-based staff and a network of participating Trade Allies. You will maintain ongoing communications with contractors, customers, and consultants, addressing any concerns related to program participation. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you review technical specifications, calculations, and cost estimates for energy efficiency projects. You will also assist technical teams in meeting quality assurance and quality control standards, perform energy savings calculations, and process program incentive payments according to established policies. The Project Coordinator will also coordinate quality control activities, such as inspections and customer surveys, to ensure that the programs are effectively meeting their goals. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Provide support for field-based staff and a network of participating Trade Allies
  • Maintain ongoing communications with participating contractors, customers, and consultants
  • Clarify and resolve/escalate customer/contractor concerns related to program participation, as necessary
  • Review project application forms and submittals
  • Review technical specifications, calculations, and cost estimates for energy efficiency projects
  • Assist technical teams to ensure QA/QC standards for the program are met
  • Perform energy savings calculations for prescriptive energy efficiency measures and upload records into program database
  • Process program incentive payments per established policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with or follow up on program quality control activities such as inspections and customer surveys as appropriate

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or applicants can substitute one year of related experience for one year of education)
  • 2+ years of experience working in energy efficiency or demand response programs; or consulting projects for utilities, state energy offices, state/local governments, and/or regional non-profits, or related work experience
