About the position

The Project Coordinator - Communications role is focused on providing comprehensive support to the Project Management Team, Construction Team, and Splice Team. The position involves managing schedules, coordinating communications, and overseeing logistics to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction. The coordinator will also be responsible for data collection, reporting, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Project Management Team, Construction Team, and Splice Team to provide Client support including creation and management of schedules.
  • Attend all in-person and virtual meeting requests with Customers including site surveys.
  • Align communications with field inspectors, Customer Agents, City Staff / Regulatory Agency Representatives.
  • Provide Project Coordination, Oversight, and Logistics Management.
  • Collect construction ride-out information and organize it for timely delivery to the Customer, flagging potential risks and delays.
  • Report all hindrances to the Project Management Team for mitigation and risk planning.
  • Create and continually update Construction and Splicing Redlines, remediating with field crews as needed for billing.
  • Collect, manage, and coordinate data for project closeout and client-specific deliverables.
  • Process daily production report submittals from Construction Supervisors and subcontractors.
  • Translate in-field production activities into central billing units and report those units to the Customer.
  • Create reports of production, share metrics daily with the team, and track goals and milestones.
  • Analyze prints and photos for accuracy and incorporate them into reports and custom maps.
  • Review, approve, and submit engineering plans for reviews including Bill of Material Summaries and cost estimates.

Requirements

  • Experience with Verizon based reporting tools, design platforms, and unique portal billing.
  • Construction Management degree or relevant work experience in a similar role with required technical skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of Telecom Planning Design, Engineering, Permitting, Construction, and Splicing project phases.
  • Ability to read engineering designs.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed with strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including in-depth analysis with Excel, SmartSheets, PowerPoint, Bluebean, Adobe, etc.; AutoCad and GIS are a plus.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with team members, vendors, and customers.
