About the position

The Project Coordinator for Community Outreach is a temporary, grant-funded role focused on extensive community outreach to meet grant objectives through June 2025. The position involves building partnerships with municipalities and community organizations, delivering health-related presentations, managing data, and writing reports. The role requires reliable transportation and the ability to lift and transport supplies for community events.

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow partnerships with municipalities and community organizations.
  • Table at community events to promote health initiatives.
  • Deliver health-related presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Manage data collection and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Write reports to meet grant objectives.
  • Interact with co-workers and the public in alignment with Jefferson's values.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in community outreach or social services preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills for data management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs, especially Excel and Word.
  • Ability to lift and transport supplies, including tents and tables.
