About the position

The Project Coordinator/Community Services position at DVG Tech Solutions LLC is a full-time role based in Providence, RI, focusing on supporting the Division of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. The candidate will be responsible for various data entry tasks related to contract compliance, specifically for the EOO (Equal Opportunity Office) and MBE/WBE (Minority Business Enterprise/Women Business Enterprise) certifications. This role requires proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Access, as well as strong organizational and communication skills. The position entails working 25 hours over five days a week, with a pay rate of $25 per hour on a W2 basis. In this role, the Project Coordinator will perform essential data entry tasks that ensure compliance with EOO contracts and MBE/WBE certifications. This includes supporting budgeting activities related to these certifications and compiling reports on workforce statistics. The coordinator will also be responsible for filing and scanning physical paperwork, organizing files alphabetically, and assisting in the preparation and documentation of annual update approval letters. Collaboration with team members is crucial to ensure accurate and timely reporting, making effective communication a key component of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry tasks related to EOO contract compliance and MBE/WBE Contract Compliance
  • Perform data entry tasks related to MBE/WBE Certifications
  • Support budgeting activities related to MBE/WBE certifications and EOO workforce employment
  • Compile and prepare reports on MBE/WBE certifications and EOO workforce statistics
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Filing and scanning of physical paperwork, such as annual updates and certification applications
  • Organizing physical files based on alphabetical order
  • Assisting with the preparation, sending, and documentation of annual update approval letters

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to comprehend and apply RI Gen Laws Equal Opportunity and MBE regulations
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Prior experience in data entry and administrative support preferred
