Parsons is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5) awarded by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This contract, valued at over $1.8 billion, encompasses a wide range of activities that are crucial to the FAA's Capital Investment Plan (CIP), NextGen Program, and various national security and aviation safety initiatives. The work will be performed across the nation, including FAA's nine regions and key facilities in Oklahoma City and Atlantic City. The Project Coordinator will play a vital role in managing and coordinating construction projects, ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. In this position, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of moderately complex administrative and coordination tasks related to both self-performed and subcontracted design-build infrastructure projects. These projects may include buildings, communications towers, and other FAA infrastructure. The coordinator will engage in problem analysis and will be expected to exercise discretion and independent judgment in applying industry practices. The role may also involve providing functional guidance to lower-level technical personnel and requires a willingness to travel to construction sites as needed. The Project Coordinator will support Project Managers in various areas, including engineering management, subcontracts management, and construction management. This includes developing and managing systems for tracking documentation and tasks throughout the project lifecycle, monitoring project progress, and providing status reports to supervisors and clients. The coordinator will also assist in preparing risk management plans, managing project documentation through SharePoint, and coordinating with field staff to address daily project issues. This position is integral to ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
