Parsons is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the Technical Support Services Contract 5 (T5) awarded by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This contract, valued at over $1.8 billion, encompasses a wide range of activities that are crucial to the FAA's Capital Investment Plan (CIP) and various reimbursable programs, including the FAA NextGen Program and national security initiatives. The work will be performed across the nation, including FAA's nine regions, the Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, and the Technical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey, as well as in several U.S. territories. The successful candidate will join a team of approximately 500 staff members, with peak staffing exceeding 650, including subcontractors involved in construction work. In this role, the Project Coordinator will engage in moderately complex office construction project administrative and coordination tasks related to both self-performed and subcontracted design-build infrastructure projects. These projects may include buildings, communications towers, and FAA infrastructure. The coordinator will be expected to exercise discretion and independent judgment in problem analysis and the application of general industry practices. Additionally, the role may involve providing functional guidance to craft or lower-level technical personnel, and a willingness to travel to construction site locations is essential. The Project Coordinator will support Project Managers in various areas, including engineering management, subcontracts management, and construction management. Responsibilities will include developing and managing systems for tracking documentation and tasks throughout the project lifecycle, monitoring the progress of multiple projects, and providing status reports to supervisors and clients. The coordinator will also assist in preparing risk management plans, managing project organization through SharePoint, and coordinating with field staff to address daily issues. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a positive attitude towards learning and continuous improvement.
