About the position

SHAZAM is seeking a Project Coordinator (EFTI - Issuer) to join our team in Des Moines, IA. This hybrid position is integral to our mission of strengthening community financial institutions. As a Project Coordinator, you will assist with processing requests from financial institutions, data processors, and other customers for new or additional services. Your role will involve executing paperwork, coordinating work between third parties, and supporting project managers throughout the project lifecycle. In this role, you will facilitate the completion of tasks and maintain communication with other departments and vendors to ensure project schedules are met. You will be responsible for application systems and project planning, which includes estimating, tracking, and managing projects in alignment with the objectives set by project sponsors and company executives. Additionally, you will work closely with core software providers and middleware vendors to enhance their systems for better integration between SHAZAM and our customers' core systems. Providing escalation support to Client Support and other internal areas will also be a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and maintaining real-time and batch processing formats. Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the completion of tasks and communicate with other departments and vendors to help with ensuring projects' schedules.
  • Responsible for application systems/project planning, estimating, tracking, and management that are consistent with the project sponsor and company executives' objectives.
  • Work with core software providers and middleware vendors to enhance their systems to integrate more effectively between SHAZAM and our customer's core systems.
  • Provide escalation support to Client Support and other internal areas as needed to support financial institutions, processors, and vendors to ensure compliance with ISO standards, real time, and batch maintenance formats.

Requirements

  • Project coordination or related industry experience preferred, banking experience a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment, quickly adapting to change and prioritizing needs.
