About the position

The Project Coordinator at Velociti Services is responsible for managing administrative tasks related to employee badging while also overseeing day-to-day janitorial operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and hands-on leadership to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the process of creating, distributing, and tracking employee identification badges.
  • Aid new hires in completing badging documents and scheduling fingerprinting requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee documentation related to badges.
  • Ensure compliance with company security policies and legal regulations regarding badge procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on badge issuance and access-related incidents.
  • Liaise with HR and security teams to align on badge policies and issue resolution.
  • Provide training to employees on badge usage and support for badge-related issues.
  • Supervise janitorial staff, providing direction, schedules, and performance feedback.
  • Perform cleaning tasks as needed, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal.
  • Monitor and order cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Inspect the cleanliness of facilities regularly and address deficiencies.
  • Ensure the team follows safety protocols for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role within janitorial services.
  • Some administrative or clerical experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
