About the position

The Project Coordinator at DHR Health plays a crucial role in supporting project initiatives and teams to deliver effective business solutions within the healthcare environment. Reporting directly to the Chief Clinical Operation Officer, this position involves coordinating resources, managing project documentation, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to ensure successful project completion. The role requires a strong focus on customer service and collaboration across various departments to enhance operational efficiency and quality of care.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the facility mission, vision, and values by effectively communicating them to others.
  • Coordinate and arrange meetings/events, prepare agendas/itineraries, reserve and prepare facilities, and record and transcribe meeting minutes.
  • Assist with project plans, timelines, and schedules.
  • Coordinate resources, staff, and activities to ensure project completion.
  • Track progress and adjust timelines as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Serve as a liaison between project stakeholders, including healthcare providers, administrators, and external partners.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings, providing updates and reports on project status.
  • Assist with preparing presentations and reports for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and track project budgets, ensuring expenditures stay within the allocated budget.
  • Coordinate procurement of necessary resources, equipment, and supplies for the project.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and reports.
  • Ensure project activities comply with hospital policies, regulations, and accreditation requirements.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies, communicating findings with appropriate administrators.
  • Resolve any issues or roadblocks that may impact project progress.
  • Work closely with clinical staff and non-clinical teams to support project goals.
  • Provide training and support to hospital staff on new systems or processes being implemented as part of the project.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor project performance and outcomes.
  • Support the hospital's quality improvement efforts by helping to implement best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g. Business Administration, Organizational Development).
  • Minimum of 2 years project coordinator experience.
  • Advanced computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.
