The Graduate Project Coordinator position at the Northern Kentucky Nursing & Interprofessional Research Collaborative (NIRC) is designed for graduate students who are looking to gain hands-on experience in project management and research within the healthcare sector. This role requires an average commitment of 20 hours per week during the Fall and Spring academic year, with a negotiable schedule to accommodate the student's academic commitments. The NIRC aims to enhance the health of the region through collaborative, community-driven interventions that are informed by interprofessional research methods and quality improvement initiatives. As a Project Coordinator, the individual will support the NIRC Director in various activities that include fostering academic-community partnerships, which are essential for engaging students in experiential learning and applying evidence-based practices. The role involves organizing structured workshops and seminars, as well as supporting scholarship initiatives by developing shared digital resources. The Project Coordinator will also play a key role in promoting community partnerships that focus on service learning and participatory research opportunities for nursing students, faculty, and clinical nurses. The responsibilities of this position will provide the graduate student with exposure to complex project management tasks and research opportunities, thereby enhancing their skills and preparing them for a successful career post-graduation. The position also includes responsibilities such as data collection, management, and analysis, as well as the design and support of an organizational Canvas site that will serve as a repository for educational resources and partner data. Additionally, the Project Coordinator will be involved in community outreach, continuing education application development, and public relations efforts related to NIRC events.
