About the position

The Project Coordinator position at UF Health Shands Hospital is a full-time role that provides essential administrative, financial, and project support to the Vice President (VP) of Human Resources, the Assistant Vice President (AVP), and other HR leaders as required. This position is pivotal in conducting and coordinating various analyses and special projects, which involves engaging the appropriate stakeholders, defining key issues, gathering and analyzing relevant data, and identifying and evaluating potential solutions and alternative approaches. The Project Coordinator will also be responsible for recommending actionable plans based on their findings. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring that all tasks align with the strategic goals of the HR department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business or a related field, with a preference for those who hold or are pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree. Candidates should have post-baccalaureate experience in an academic medical center, particularly in roles that involve high-level, impactful projects and HR-related work. This position does not require the operation of vehicles for business purposes, and there are no specific licensure or certification requirements for applicants.

Responsibilities

Requirements
