In this role, you will coordinate Actuarial projects and partner with Actuarial Leadership to ensure all aspects of projects run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include working on project tasks, bringing issue resolution to completion, guiding prioritization, and serving as a liaison to other teams to ensure no gaps in handoffs. You will also support the actuarial recruiting program, in addition to other projects, reporting to the Projects and Strategic Planning Senior Manager. The scope of work includes project coordination, taking ownership, problem solving, organizational oversight, scheduling, communications, event planning, recurring task management, and reporting for multiple Actuarial programs. There will be many opportunities to help build or flex skills to fit the dynamic nature of our programs, including taking on a variety of tasks or activities across projects to fit our needs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of department recruiting and internship programs.
  • Serve as a liaison to the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Support the new employee and internship experience.
  • Help resolve issues as they arise.
  • Provide problem solving, organizational skills, documentation, and issue escalation across various needs within Actuarial.
  • Provide overflow support across a variety of department needs.
  • Partner with business leads to support other projects or improve delivery of project and documentation needs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in the financial or insurance industry.
  • Basic/entry-level knowledge of financial or insurance industry.
  • Two-year degree required or equivalent work experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Mastery of the Microsoft suite (SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to perform root-cause analysis and process documentation.
