The Project Coordinator II position at Columbia University is a vital role within the Center for Precision Medicine and Genomics (CPMG), focusing on a NIH-funded study that investigates ethical, legal, and social issues (ELSI) related to the inclusion of people with disabilities in precision medicine research. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training and experience, plus three years of related experience.
  • Ability to work well independently, complete assignments in a timely manner, and prioritize multiple tasks to ensure the completion of essential tasks by deadlines.
  • Demonstrated interest in social sciences research, ELSI research, and/or disability studies.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable with research technologies and online platforms for research.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and learn new skills (e.g., disability accessibility).

Nice-to-haves

  • At least one year of related experience, especially in conducting quantitative and qualitative data collection and analyses.
  • Familiarity with disability studies and/or ELSI research.
