About the position

The Technology Transfer Project Coordinator II plays a crucial role in assisting with projects of varying complexity, managing assigned activities, and facilitating communication regarding workflow and process changes to the relevant project teams. This position is integral to supporting improvements in existing processes and aiding in the transfer of new processes to manufacturing environments. The coordinator will collaborate closely with management to enhance the training programs for Technology Transfer Project Coordinators and will also assist in the training and mentoring of peers within the organization. Additionally, the coordinator is expected to provide leadership and support for work center and program projects as assigned, ensuring that all activities align with the overall goals of the department. In this role, the coordinator will assist Technology Transfer Project Managers (PMs) by coordinating updates and the release of documentation, as well as facilitating cross-functional communication under the supervision of the Product Transfer Manager and/or PMs. The coordinator will work with various cross-functional teams to identify and fulfill project and task needs that are not already assigned to a PM. They will collaborate with the Product Transfer Manager and/or PMs to define the scope of work and establish project timelines. The coordinator will also be responsible for scheduling meetings, creating agendas, documenting meeting minutes, and preparing correspondence and presentations. Furthermore, they will represent the Technology Transfer Department on assigned tasks and report on the status of work packages to the Product Transfer Manager, PM, Program Manager, or relevant subject matter experts as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Technology Transfer Project Managers (PMs) by coordinating updates and release of documentation and cross-functional communication with supervision from the Product Transfer Manager and/or oversight from PMs.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate and complete project and task needs, not already assigned to a PM.
  • Collaborate with Product Transfer Manager and/or PMs to determine scope of work and project timelines.
  • Schedule meetings, create agendas, document meeting minutes, correspondence, and presentations.
  • Represent the Technology Transfer Department on tasks they are assigned.
  • Report on status of work packages to the Product Transfer Manager, PM, Program Manager or subject matter experts where applicable.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree required, preference in life sciences or engineering fields.
  • BS or BA in science or engineering preferred.
  • Appropriate college level coursework and/or significant related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Two or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in FDA, ISO, and/or cGMP/cGLP compliant environment preferred.
  • Regulated, non-IVD industry experience may also be considered.
  • Experience in project management or closely related field desired but not required.
