The Project Coordinator II position at Texas A&M University Health Science Center is a vital role within the Psychiatry and Behavioral Science department. This position is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and assisting with the completion of various research projects. Under general supervision, the Project Coordinator II will develop and coordinate activities with project central hubs, mental health clinics, primary care facilities, and other stakeholders to ensure full implementation of research initiatives. The role involves scheduling and completing participant recruitment, enrollment, and assessments, as well as supervising project staff to ensure that all project goals are met efficiently and effectively. In this role, the Project Coordinator II will work closely with various teams to determine project needs related to communication, referral, management of records, and coordination of services. This includes training in and implementing structured clinical assessments for adolescents and children/families. The coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining database integrity, security, and accuracy in documentation, as well as coordinating project activities that include communication, screening, referral, management of records, and study services. The position requires the ability to manage multiple work streams and ensure that cross-project dependencies and impacts are identified and managed appropriately. Additionally, the Project Coordinator II will prepare and disseminate reports and other related referral and marketing information to key stakeholders, including Institutional Review Boards. Monitoring and reporting on research progress and financial activity for assigned projects is also a critical aspect of this role. Compliance with applicable regulations, including IRB, HIPAA, and FERPA, is essential, and the coordinator will assist with forecasting and progress reporting against milestones, budgetary updates, and the change management process. This position may also involve performing other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the department's research initiatives.
