About the position

The Project Coordinator at the Immunology Center of Georgia will assist with administrative and technical work in support of subject study projects and research initiatives. This role involves planning, implementation, data collection, and documentation within institutional guidelines, ensuring the smooth operation of research activities and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain project timeline by coordinating with team members and research sites.
  • Assist group leaders with sessions and coordinate enrolling research participants.
  • Attend staff trainings and research meetings to participate in project planning.
  • Prepare, submit, and maintain all IRB regulatory files per institutional guidelines.
  • Collect, enter, and ensure quality control of data; maintain study subject files.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field of study with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • OR Associate degree from an accredited college or university in a related field of study with a minimum of 5 years' experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Project management experience in an academic or hospital/clinical setting.
  • Institutional knowledge or experience in higher education.
  • Project Management Professional certification (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
  • Experience with Waterfall project management methodology.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Project or another scheduling software.
