About the position

The Project Coordinator Intern position at ClearpointCo. offers a hands-on opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain valuable experience in construction project management. The intern will assist project managers in planning, coordinating, and executing various construction projects, providing support in documentation, communication, and project monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning and coordinating project activities, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Support the preparation and distribution of project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and schedules.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and communicate them to the project team.
• Help maintain and organize project files, drawings, permits, and other critical documents.
• Coordinate communication between contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Attend site visits and assist with project inspections to ensure work is performed according to specifications and safety standards.
• Assist in preparing progress reports, meeting minutes, and other project-related documentation.
• Track project costs and assist with budget management and cost control efforts.
• Participate in project meetings and provide administrative support as needed.
• Help ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and building codes.

Requirements

• Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Versed in project management software such as MS Project, Procore, or similar applications is a big plus!
• Previous internship or work experience in construction or project management.
• Familiarity with construction drawings and blueprints.
• Recent graduate from a degree program in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
