About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Project Management Intern. This internship offers a hands-on experience in project management within a fast-paced and innovative environment. As a Project Coordinator Intern, you will work closely with experienced project managers and play a key role in facilitating the smooth operation of project management activities. From coordinating essential meetings to ensuring accurate tracking of supplier data, your contributions will directly impact our project success. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating meetings with project managers to ensure alignment on project objectives and milestones. You will also update supplier API spreadsheets to maintain formal tracking, proactively reach out to vendors to facilitate communication and streamline procurement processes, and review client contracts to ensure compliance and understanding of project requirements. This position is ideal for someone who is pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Economics, or a related field and is eager to learn and grow in the project management space.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating meetings with project managers to ensure alignment on project objectives and milestones.
  • Updating supplier API spreadsheets to maintain formal tracking.
  • Proactively reaching out to vendors to facilitate communication and streamline procurement processes.
  • Reviewing client contracts to ensure compliance and understanding of project requirements.

Requirements

  • Pursuing Bachelors or Masters in Mathematics, Economics or other related majors.
  • Proficiency in Excel to effectively manage and manipulate data for reporting and analysis.
  • Familiarity with PowerPoint to create engaging presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect seamlessly with multiple departments to gather relevant information and insights.
  • Self-starter mentality with the drive to take initiative and tackle tasks independently.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision.

Nice-to-haves

  • Some knowledge of apex products/services is desired but not mandatory; willingness to learn and adapt to new concepts is valued.
