About the position

The Project Coordinator/Inventory Manager role at Kitchen Tune-Up & Bath Tune-Up involves managing kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects and overseeing warehouse inventory. This position is crucial for ensuring exceptional client experiences by coordinating project timelines, materials, and communication between clients and the installation team. The role requires a highly organized individual who can multitask effectively and is comfortable working in a hybrid environment, primarily from the warehouse and visiting job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Create an exceptional client experience and earn a 5-star Google review.
  • Over-communicate with clients and install team, including sending the client a detailed schedule of their project one week prior to the start date.
  • Order and coordinate the timely delivery of project materials.
  • Review and approve supplier invoices.
  • Review installation details with the field supervisor and coordinate project timeline with installers and subcontractors.
  • Manage the warehouse, including logging and labeling all incoming shipments and ensuring all project materials are sorted and accounted for prior to installation.
  • Coordinate delivery of project materials to the project site and communicate timelines with clients.
  • Run multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Create and maintain schedules that ensure upcoming events are communicated, tracked, and proactively managed.
  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day field work to ensure compliance with client service standards and safety codes.
  • Participate in regular operations meetings to address procedure questions, recognize excellent performance, and incorporate team suggestions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and/or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).
  • Experience with data entry, email communication, databases, and software use.
  • Ability to envision and implement innovative solutions.
  • Effective at scheduling and multitasking.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication of project details and challenges.

Nice-to-haves

  • Some residential remodeling or construction experience.
  • Analytic mind and great organizational skills.
  • Innovative and prefer working in unconventional ways or on creative tasks.
  • Tech-savvy and experienced using CRM systems.
