About the position

The Project Coordinator position is a temporary, grant-funded role focused on promoting COVID-19 and FLU vaccination programs within the community, particularly targeting seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those with limited English proficiency. The coordinator will engage in community outreach, oversee vaccination processes, and maintain accurate records of vaccinations and incentives offered. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, as it involves attending events during weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Attend workshops and community events to promote vaccination programs.
  • Recruit individuals who meet vaccination criteria at community events.
  • Oversee the vaccination process with partners.
  • Maintain records of all vaccines and incentives offered.
  • Engage with diverse community members and provide public speaking as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Asian languages.
  • Community outreach or social services experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills for timely data collection and documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs, especially Excel and Word.
