About the position

The Project Coordinator at OST, Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting the life cycle project management activities for various defense-related projects, including training simulators and instrumentation systems. This position requires collaboration with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure effective project execution, adherence to DoD guidelines, and successful coordination across multiple functional domains such as engineering, logistics, and financial management.

Responsibilities

• Support life cycle project management activities for training simulator and instrumentation systems acquisition per DoD processes.
• Provide technical input to acquisition documents required by DoD guidelines.
• Coordinate project activities across engineering, logistics, financial management, and contracts.
• Provide expert advice to the Project Director and IPT members on program acquisition and execution.
• Track cost, schedule, and performance for a portfolio of projects.
• Schedule and attend project technical and programmatic reviews, resolving issues as identified.
• Prepare documentation for scheduled reviews and provide coordination for ongoing projects.
• Identify and provide input to the project director for risk management and contractor performance assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years of experience in project management
• Secret Clearance
• Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs
• PMP/DAWIAA Level III Certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of DoD Acquisition Process and Procedures
• Strong analytical and management skills
• Ability to organize and plan project requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
