About the position

As the Project Coordinator for Leisure Sales at Posadas, you will play a crucial role in supporting the global sales team to drive revenue growth. This position involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the sales team and ensuring that sales strategies are executed efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include managing customer portfolios, executing marketing strategies, coordinating promotional activities, and conducting market research. You will work closely with Sales Segment Leaders and Area Managers to develop and implement effective sales plans that align with the company's objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for strategic sales planning, where you will develop and execute plans aimed at revenue growth specifically within the leisure segment. You will coordinate and oversee various sales projects to ensure they are implemented successfully and on time. Conducting market research will be a key part of your job, as you will need to understand customer preferences, market trends, and competitor activities. Analyzing this research data will help you optimize sales strategies and improve overall performance. Marketing and promotion will also be significant aspects of your role. You will support pay-per-click advertising campaigns to enhance customer engagement and manage the approval process for sales and promotional materials. Additionally, you will compile creative assets for marketing teams and act as an internal agency traffic manager. Preparing and managing quarterly and annual sales reports, with a focus on Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS), will be essential to track the effectiveness of sales initiatives. Customer relationship management is another critical responsibility. You will collaborate with the sales team to manage customer portfolios and identify cross-selling opportunities, supporting the team in achieving their sales quotas. Event coordination will also be part of your duties, as you will assist in organizing Familiarization (FAM) trips to showcase Posadas' properties and manage promotional merchandise and inventory control. Finally, you will engage in reporting and evaluation, preparing and managing sales reports while evaluating the performance of the regional sales team and analyzing sales data for improvement opportunities. Cross-functional collaboration will be necessary to align and consolidate strategies with other sales teams, and staying updated on industry trends will provide valuable insights to enhance sales strategies.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher in Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience with a background in project management, sales reporting, and market research.
  • Experience in coordinating office events and meetings.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Expertise in digital marketing and campaign management.
  • Event and/or meeting planning for small and medium size groups.
  • Knowledge of global leisure travel trends.

Nice-to-haves
