About the position

The Project Coordinator for Line Extension and Packaging at SPECTRAFORCE plays a vital role in enhancing the customer experience through effective packaging solutions. This position is centered around supporting the packaging engineering team in their daily operations, ensuring that all aspects of packaging meet the high standards expected by the company and its customers. The role involves managing various administrative tasks, including file management, work orders for visual design development, and the shipping of packaging samples. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a keen attention to detail. In this position, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the creation of purchase orders and approving invoices, as well as managing the delivery of packaging samples across different programs. The role requires a thorough understanding of packaging documentation, including Bill of Materials (BOM) management, and the ability to quality check packaging files. The candidate will also assist in creating work orders for packaging artwork file creation and provide administrative support, such as generating shipping labels for international shipments. Collaboration with the packaging team and other departments is essential to ensure that all project objectives are met efficiently and effectively. The Project Coordinator will also be expected to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, ensuring that all project timelines and deliverables are adhered to. Responsibilities

  • Support packaging team's day-to-day activities to meet overall project objectives
  • Create purchase order requests and approve invoices
  • Oversee packaging sample deliveries for various programs cross functionally
  • Create work orders for packaging artwork file creation
  • Manage packaging BOMs, file routing, annotations, corrections, and approvals through documentation systems
  • Provide administrative support such as creating shipping labels for shipping packaging samples internationally
  • Work with packaging team EPMs on various daily tasks such as packing out samples for management reviews

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant working experience in project management, Packaging, Graphic Design or equivalent
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of program schedules
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, dates, deadlines and deliverables
  • Able to compare, contrast and quality check packaging files with a keen attention to detail
  • Knowledge of file documentation and/or BOM management
  • Knowledge of packaging or graphic design a plus
