The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing the customer experience and supporting the Operations team. This position involves a wide range of administrative and communication duties, including assisting with job files, managing installation schedules, and coordinating with customers and colleagues to ensure timely project completion. The Project Coordinator is responsible for creating a 5-Star experience for every customer interaction, which is essential to maintaining the company's reputation as one of the top residential construction remodeling companies in California. In this role, the Project Coordinator will assist with all job files and installation schedules, ensuring that jobs progress smoothly and on time. They will generate goodwill for the company by fostering positive customer relationships that lead to 5-star reviews and referrals. The Project Coordinator will manage a pipeline of customers across various work queues, answer incoming calls, field questions from customers, and collect on accounts receivable, submitting necessary information to the corporate office. They will advocate for the customer by engaging with the appropriate staff to ensure that projects meet service level agreements (SLAs) and timelines, while also advocating for the company by using their knowledge and sincerity to address customer frustrations related to construction challenges. Effective communication with branch personnel is crucial, and the Project Coordinator will provide daily reports and updates to management. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage long-term relationships with customers, colleagues, and vendors. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, time management abilities, and a solution-oriented mindset, always seeking ways to improve efficiency and the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all job files and installation schedules
  • Keep jobs moving forward and on time
  • Generate goodwill for the company in the form of 5-star reviews and referrals
  • Manage pipeline of customers in a variety of work queues (pre-site, overlay and NEM)
  • Answer incoming calls and field questions from customers
  • Collect on accounts receivable and submit information to corporate office
  • Advocate for the customer and engage with the appropriate staff to ensure project is meeting SLAs and timelines
  • Advocate for the company and use knowledge and sincerity to overcome customer frustrations around construction challenges
  • Utilize conflict management skills and escalate issues as needed
  • Communicate effectively with branch personnel using a professional, empowering approach
  • Provide daily reports and updates to management
  • Perform other duties and tasks as needed

Requirements
