About the position

As a Project Coordinator/Manager at APC Packaging, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of projects from inception to completion. Your role will involve coordinating every detail of the project lifecycle, acting as the vital communication link between our sales and engineering teams at headquarters and our manufacturing facility in China. This position requires a technically oriented individual who is fluent in Mandarin, as you will need to communicate product specifications and requirements effectively across cultural and geographical boundaries. In this fast-paced environment, you will manage the flow of information, ensuring that all parties are aligned and that project milestones are met. You will oversee the process from the initial Request for Quotation (RFQ) through to obtaining approved finish samples from our production facility. Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining the quality and integrity of our packaging solutions, which are essential for our clients in the beauty industry. Responsibilities

• Act as the communication channel between the sales and engineering teams and the manufacturing team in China.
• Coordinate every step of the project process from RFQ to obtaining approved finish samples.
• Ensure that product specifications are communicated clearly and accurately to all stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines and ensure that milestones are met in a timely manner.
• Facilitate communication with the China team, including during evening hours when necessary.
• Maintain strong attention to detail and follow up on project progress and requirements.

Requirements

• Fluent in Mandarin (both verbal and written).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a science-related major is highly preferred.
• Ability to understand engineering requirements and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
• Flexibility to communicate with the China team during evenings when required.
• Culturally sensitive to the differences between Chinese and US business practices.
