About the position

The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing multiple projects within a building material supplier that manufactures and distributes a variety of building products. This position involves coordinating with field managers, overseeing project documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulations while maintaining effective communication with customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with field managers to ensure timely submission of verifications and data.
  • Post bid addendums, proposal requests, etc.
  • Document all aspects of any given project through contracts, change orders, sales orders, purchase orders, order acknowledgements, submittals, emails, and other forms of correspondence.
  • Manage several projects daily.
  • Work with production on lead-times and shipping details.
  • Communicate directly with customers via phone, email, or jobsite visits.
  • Determine and adequately meet project schedules and deadlines.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in related fields (carpentry, construction, building materials).
  • Associate's degree in related fields preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in construction processes and required building materials.
  • Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques.
  • Ability to input, retrieve, and analyze data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
