About the position

The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing multiple projects within a building material supplier that manufactures and distributes a variety of building products. This position involves coordinating with field managers, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining effective communication with customers and vendors. The role is essential for ensuring project schedules and deadlines are met while documenting all aspects of the projects.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with field managers to ensure timely submission of verifications and data.
  • Post bid addendums, proposal requests, etc.
  • Utilize experience and knowledge related to building products.
  • Document all aspects of projects through contracts, change orders, sales orders, purchase orders, and other correspondence.
  • Manage several projects daily.
  • Work with production on lead-times and shipping details.
  • Communicate directly with customers via phone, email, or jobsite visits.
  • Determine and meet project schedules and deadlines.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in related fields such as carpentry, construction, or building materials.
  • Associate's degree in related fields preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in construction processes and required building materials.
  • Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques.
  • Ability to input, retrieve, and analyze data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
