About the position

Our furniture manufacturing firm is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator who can manage a project from initiation to completion and be able to utilize project data to make future projects more productive and cost-efficient. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for creating milestone schedules, coming up with bid estimates and preparing final proposals for project management. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual that can ensure that each project is completed on time and on or under budget. In addition, the successful candidate must be able to perform well in a fast-paced environment with constant tight schedules and can multi-task with the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation to completion.
• Create milestone schedules for projects.
• Develop bid estimates and prepare final proposals for project management.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Utilize project data to improve future project productivity and cost-efficiency.
• Organize electronic and physical files related to projects.

Requirements

• Experience in hospitality, interior design, or construction preferred.
• At least 1 year of full-time work experience or project managing experience preferred, especially in hospitality, interior design, construction, or sourcing and procurement.
• Minimum college education: Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Resourceful and problem-solving skills required.
• Good interactive and communication skills to provide excellent service to client's sales team and project manager.
• Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Proactive individual with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to speak, read and write basic Mandarin Chinese is required.
• Knowledge of CAD drafting is preferred.
