This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that the candidate can easily commute to our Lexington or Lawrence offices. The purpose of this position is to utilize marketing skills, knowledge, and expertise to manage and coordinate assigned marketing projects, working closely with the Sales team to ensure effective execution of marketing strategies that support the growth of the business. The project responsibilities encompass defined areas of collateral development, professional event management, market research, and general marketing, all aimed at expanding output capabilities and enhancing the marketing department's support and efficiency in all areas. Under general direction, the candidate will create marketing materials, presentations, or tools, utilizing communication expertise and insights from market research, clinical literature, internal data, and various other sources to articulate and drive marketing strategy with a consistent message and style, in compliance with department and corporate requirements. The role involves tracking the execution and effectiveness of marketing activities, providing senior management with routine updates, and meeting with internal customers and partners to understand specific business needs related to the marketing of particular services and other related business initiatives. The candidate will develop project plans to define needs and audiences, develop messages/communications, determine applicable marketing mediums, and identify appropriate education if needed. The position also requires partnering with operations management and the sales team to ensure appropriate execution of marketing requirements for new centers or the rebranding of existing centers, communicating changes in procedural capabilities or focus, and marketing/promoting new physicians. The candidate will coordinate the launch and dissemination of new materials to the appropriate internal or external audience to ensure optimal reception of materials. Additionally, the role involves contributing to and assisting with the management of creative durable marketing materials by editing, fact-checking, and ensuring pertinent source attribution. The candidate will use basic electronic graphic tools, develop collateral sales aids, track new inventory items, and communicate the availability of new items to appropriate parties. The candidate will also coordinate with external vendors and IT to ensure the appropriate and timely exchange of information regarding inventory. Enhancing the efficiency of the collateral marketing communication process is crucial, which involves maintaining an in-depth understanding of service lines, patient profiles, market conditions, and procedural trends to reduce inaccurate assumptions about disease processes and procedures offered/performed. The candidate will organize, summarize, and submit new collateral materials to the pertinent management review team, facilitate pre-reviews if necessary, and document to expedite the process and increase accuracy and validity. Tracking and communicating original and interim materials to the approvers and coordinators of the approval process is also part of the role, along with electronically archiving final materials according to the appropriate procedure. The candidate will assess opportunities for marketing exposure and messaging across all marketing venues to ensure accurate and effective execution to drive marketing strategies. Supporting and contributing to the development of marketing business plans by analyzing particular markets and recommending marketing initiative options to achieve identified marketing objectives and targets is essential. Conducting internal and external market research routinely, analyzing trends for marketing application to support awareness campaigns in markets where awareness is most acute, and conducting analyses for market segmentation, channel, and customer impact are also key responsibilities. The candidate will interpret, analyze, and report on marketing impact to determine if chosen concepts and messages are best suited for the desired audience, while maintaining in-depth and current knowledge of the competition to help direct sales and marketing focus and drive increased interest. The role also supports the planning and management of conventions and meetings from planning and budgeting perspectives, communicating with sponsors of the conventions and participants, and coordinating displays, booths, and supplies to ensure timely and appropriate representation. Other duties as assigned may include a focus on one or more departments or locations.
