About the position

The Project Coordinator - Media and Innovation at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) will work within the Center for Online and Continuing Education (COCE) to manage and coordinate media production projects. This role involves collaborating with a team of producers, designers, and multimedia specialists to ensure projects are completed on time. The coordinator will track project progress, analyze data, and communicate insights to various stakeholders, contributing to a creative and innovative work environment that values collaboration and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with departmental partners to discuss ongoing and new media projects.
  • Distribute new media projects and update instructional designers, coordinators, and directors on all media projects.
  • Meet with external requestors for media assistance requests.
  • Create reports, charts, and dashboards to provide insights into project health and productivity.
  • Analyze data and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Identify inefficiencies in project workflows and suggest solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree with two years of relevant experience.
  • Two years of experience in a related creative field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Project Management, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Multimedia and Film Studies.
  • Experience with Wrike or other project management software.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Mediasite.
  • Familiarity with Canvas and Windows/OSX hardware and software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of standard video production and interactive object creation processes.
