H-CAP is currently seeking a Project Coordinator in Michigan to join its team in developing and implementing a comprehensive workforce development program and various educational initiatives that support labor-management partnerships within the Michigan Nursing Home Industry. The role requires travel within the state and reports directly to H-CAP's Senior Program Manager. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for building relationships with unions, nursing home operators, educational institutions, state and city agencies, and community allies to implement a robust training, recruitment, and retention program in nursing homes across Michigan. This role will also involve supporting the development of workforce programs, engaging with community partners to recruit individuals into the long-term care sector, and managing labor-management programs that address the needs of union members and employer partners. The coordinator will participate in community discussions about healthcare, particularly long-term care, and will stay informed about changes in the healthcare industry related to workforce development and training. The position may also involve supervisory duties as assigned by the Senior Program Manager.
