About the position

The Project Coordinator will support the Energy Company in Houston, Texas, by managing project documentation and facilitating administrative tasks. This role requires proficiency in MS Project and PowerBI, along with experience in project coordination within the energy sector. The position is contract-based for six months and requires onsite work.

Responsibilities

  • Manage departmental documents, Excel reports, and project plans via MS Project.
  • Update data analysis summary reports via MS PowerBI dashboards.
  • Create, store, and organize documents for multiple business units.
  • Ensure compliance reports are received, logged, tracked, and filed appropriately.
  • Work in tandem with a diverse team of project management professionals.

Requirements

  • 1 year of previous Project Coordinator experience working with MS Project software and PowerBI.
  • Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies.
  • Ability to successfully execute administrative tasks for the Program Manager and project teams.
  • Experience creating and maintaining project plans in MS Project.
  • Proficiency working with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and PowerBI.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, computer science, or a related field.
