About the position

ANR Group Inc is seeking a Project Coordinator for Nuclear Projects located in Richland, WA. This position is crucial for coordinating project teams of one to five individuals, focusing on the planning, scheduling, and control of project and program activities. The Project Coordinator will act as a specialist for specific projects, possessing detailed knowledge of all aspects of the projects. The role requires maintaining a knowledge base of new developments and technology, monitoring projects, and recommending changes to enhance operating efficiency. Additionally, the coordinator will develop budgetary estimates and manage small projects related to refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line maintenance, ensuring that work is implemented safely, with quality, on schedule, and within budget. The responsibilities include overseeing the staff involved in planning, leading, controlling, and monitoring project implementation. This encompasses all aspects of project execution, including budget management, work package preparation, parts procurement, ALARA planning, industrial and nuclear safety, work prioritization, resource loading, and work execution, including resolving schedule delays and conflicts. The Project Coordinator will also develop budgets, track costs versus budget for assigned projects, and ensure proper progress through frequent communication with clients, engineers, related parties, and management. Furthermore, the role involves developing and managing contracts, interfacing with vendors, and preparing and delivering written and oral communications to various groups, including senior management. The coordinator will also support the effective implementation of the Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program and provide outage support, including OCC.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from an accredited college or university AND one year of experience in a technical field.
  • OR Associates degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from an accredited college or university AND three years' experience in a technical field.
  • OR High School Diploma/GED AND five years' experience in a technical field.
  • Basic project management techniques.
  • Basic core values as related to human performance, cost-effective work execution.
  • Basic use of computer software tools (MS Office).
