About the position

Glacier Power Solutions is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to join our team in Kalispell, Montana. This role is essential for ensuring smooth and efficient operations across our installation and service operations. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously, possess strong customer service skills, and have the ability to oversee warehouse operations effectively. The role is approximately 60% office, scheduling and project coordination, and 40% warehouse related.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule the installation and servicing of our products to ensure a seamless experience for customers.
  • Assist with preparation and procurement of installation team materials for upcoming projects.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and issues relating to installations, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Manage and organize the warehouse, including inventory control, equipment allocation, and ensuring readiness for operations.
  • Develop and maintain efficient scheduling systems to optimize team productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with various teams (technical, sales, logistics) to enhance service delivery and operational success.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the operational activities.
  • Prepare regular reports on installation and service activities, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in operations coordination, logistics, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and general software and computer skills are required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering strong customer relationships.
  • Competence in using scheduling and inventory management software.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle potential customer service issues with grace.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift and company vehicles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Some experience and knowledge of construction is preferred.
  • Knowledge of electrical and gas equipment is a plus but not required.
