About the position

This role is for an Application Control Specialist (ACP) to assist in managing risk for applications within a Line of Business (LOB). The candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and escalating risk issues surrounding various applications. The position requires the individual to receive training in monitoring tools that are essential for managing risk effectively. Additionally, the candidate will be tasked with generating reports to provide necessary information for the Risk Champion. The ACP will oversee 8 to 10 applications, ensuring that all risk-related matters are addressed promptly and efficiently. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey risk issues and collaborate with team members. A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is crucial, as the candidate should be able to discuss and describe the process in detail. Strong Excel skills are also a requirement, as the role involves data analysis and reporting. This position is a contract role based in Pennington, New Jersey, with a pay range of $40 to $45 per hour. The work hours are from 8 AM to 4 PM, and a bachelor's degree is required for this position. The role is categorized under computer and mathematical occupations, emphasizing the technical skills necessary for success in this position.
