About the position

The Project Coordinator at DH Pace Company, Inc. is responsible for ensuring that project objectives are met within specified timelines and budgets. This role involves effective planning, directing, and coordinating activities related to commercial installations, ensuring quality standards and customer expectations are met.

Responsibilities

  • Review project plans and specifications to determine materials needed and order materials within customer specified budget parameters.
  • Direct and coordinate activities to ensure projects are progressing on schedule and within the budgeted scope.
  • Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
  • Master project coordinating and problem solving using good judgment and forecasting.
  • Follow administrative procedures and processes for the management of projects on time and under budget.
  • Monitor and review all projects to ensure quality standards and customer expectations are met.
  • Monitor submittals and track job materials.
  • Determine innovative solutions to any problems concerning execution of jobs.
  • Help maintain job files by gathering information to ensure projects are completed and billed accurately.
  • Work with strategic partners and internal service team in establishing and adhering to service level agreements.
  • Maintain and promote a positive attitude toward customers and fellow employees.

Requirements

  • Construction Management Degree or two years experience as a Project Coordinator or Assistant Project Manager/Engineer for a construction/service company, sub-contractor, or property management firm preferred.
  • Strong mathematical ability; must verify bids for accuracy.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication, customer relations, and problem-solving skills.
