About the position

Parsons is seeking a talented Project Coordinator to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in one of the most significant infrastructure projects in the country. This position offers the unique opportunity to work on the Gateway Program, a comprehensive set of rail investments aimed at enhancing commuter and intercity services, improving resiliency, and ultimately creating new capacity between Newark, NJ, and New York City. The first phase of this program includes the Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP), which involves constructing a new two-track tunnel under the Hudson River and rehabilitating the existing North River Tunnel, which has been in operation for over a century. As part of a tri-venture partnership with Arcadis and Mace, you will provide essential support to the Gateway Development Commission (GDC) in the development and implementation of this critical project. In your role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the PDA Tracking Program, ensuring that all procedures and policies related to PDA requirements are adhered to. You will lead and manage the organization of SPCC and TSC Monthly Meetings, which includes scheduling, agenda development, presentation preparation, and distribution of meeting materials. Additionally, you will maintain the SPCC and TSC Team Sites and Rosters, ensuring that all project documentation is organized and accessible. This position is integral to the success of the project, requiring a detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain the PDA Tracking Program.
  • Implement and maintain procedures and policies related to PDA requirements (excluding Federally-Required Plans).
  • Lead/manage the development of SPCC Monthly Meetings, including scheduling/noticing of meetings, agenda development, presentation development, and distribution of meeting minutes.
  • Lead/manage the development of TSC Monthly Meetings in coordination with CTO Office, including scheduling/noticing of meetings, agenda development, presentation development, and distribution of meeting materials.
  • Maintain the SPCC and TSC Team Sites and Rosters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of related experience working on major infrastructure projects.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access Database.
  • Working knowledge of electronic document management systems.
  • Good written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with project personnel and management.
