The Rutgers University Foundation (RUF) is seeking a creative, ambitious, and results-driven individual to fill the role of Project Coordinator for Regional Advancement and University Initiatives. This full-time position is hybrid, based in New Brunswick, NJ, and will report directly to the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Regional Advancement and University Initiatives. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting a variety of special projects, initiatives, and strategic priorities that align with the foundation's mission. In this role, the Coordinator will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and project support to the AVP. This includes serving as a key liaison for the Regional Advancement and University Initiatives team, managing inquiries, and facilitating effective communication across various departments. The Coordinator will also support both pre-and post-event management, collaborating with the Advancement Events team and Strategic Advancement Communications team to ensure successful execution of events. This involves initiating emails, coding alumni event data, and managing communication and event assistance requests. Additionally, the Coordinator will assist in running existing reports, preparing new reports, and analyzing data from the event management and fundraising systems. Building and developing strong relationships across the institution is essential, as is maintaining a high level of confidentiality in all work. The Coordinator will attend various meetings, providing updates and overviews to the team, and will be expected to complete other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will demonstrate consistency in delivering work accurately and on time, take initiative in managing complex projects, and contribute creatively to the strategic goals of the department. This position requires a Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in higher education or non-profit leadership.
