Knowledge Services is seeking a Project Coordinator for a 6-month project with the State of Maine Office of Technology, with the potential for extension. This role is open to remote applicants, although those with prior experience in state government are preferred. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in the project team, responsible for delivering projects of varying sizes and complexities. Under the direction of a Project Manager (PM), the Project Coordinator will direct, organize, and control project activities to ensure successful project delivery. The Project Coordinator will assist in developing estimates for enhancement or development efforts, which include analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation. They will also help the Project Manager track project priorities and manage ticket volumes, including reconciling Requirement and BPA tickets with testing tickets. Identifying and coordinating the resolution of issues and risks is a key responsibility, as is ensuring the delivery of all work tasks identified in the project plan. The Project Coordinator will capture and report required project metrics and proactively manage documentation related to analysis, development, and testing. In addition, the Project Coordinator will track project progress against the project plan, assist with schedule coordination, and monitor project milestones to ensure adherence to timelines. They will recommend corrective actions if a project begins to slip its schedule and assist in preparing project status reports for the Project Manager and stakeholders. The role also involves managing work efforts across multiple application teams, arranging stakeholder meetings, and communicating with users and clients as necessary. The Project Coordinator will analyze and compile project metrics related to improvement measures and ensure that processes and activities are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
