About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Project Coordinator, you will support management by handling administrative and technical tasks, ensuring follow-up on customer inquiries, and contributing to the efficient execution of our projects. In this role, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting drawings to extract important information and perform take-offs, which are crucial for project planning and execution. You will also follow up with customers regarding estimates, ensuring that all questions are addressed and passed to the Project Manager for further action. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining project schedules and managing change orders, which are essential for keeping projects on track and within budget. It is important to ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date, as this will facilitate smooth project execution and communication among team members. You will coordinate with internal teams to ensure that projects are progressing smoothly and that any issues are promptly addressed. Supporting the sales process is also a key aspect of this role, as you will manage customer follow-ups and ensure that all necessary information is communicated effectively. Ultimately, your contributions will assist in achieving company and team goals, playing a vital role in the overall success of the company and its projects.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret drawings to extract important information and perform take-offs.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in a pre-engineered building company, with a strong understanding of reading and interpreting drawings.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in relevant software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
